Housed in Brixton East, a beautiful, contemporary space just up the road from Brixton underground station, our curated group show: 'Appreciating Still Life: Beauty in the Everyday' looks at the influence of the traditional still life in contemporary art. Still life subjects are interpreted with a combination of realism and abstraction extending beyond the two dimensional art form of painting into sculpture, photography, design and installation.
